The green mark shows that it is safe to click and browse that particular website. Yellow shows the site contains minor risk, while the red code indicates it is unsafe to browse it.
There will also be a McAfee Secure Search box in your browser. You can use it to search safely all over the web. The box will eliminate the malicious and unsafe results and only display the secured ones. Thus, you can click and browse with confidence without having to worry about the security risks.

If you are using Mozilla Firefox as your browser and it prevents downloading of the McAfee SiteAdvisor file, then hit the Allow button at the top right hand corner of the screen.
